Navy Steam Club transporter

Foden C Type steam wagon built in 1923. Worked general haulage in the Armidale area, then was used as a winch at a sawmill. Currently owned by the Royal Australian Navy Steam Club based at HMAS Cerberus (a naval base not a ship) in Victoria.

The vehicle had a top speed down the runway of 80km/h and could carry a load of six imperial tons.
