2020 summit, Canberra: time to go home

@amy: Bless you amy, you are a loyal visitor, my ONLY visitor, my friend, my ONLY friend (boo hoo, sob sob). No, it's my fault, I can barely find the time to take the camera on walkabout for some interesting pics. I seem to get there when it's all over! I'll probably mess up my timing for the Olympic Torch parade here in Canberra on Thursday too! I never get to visit my am3 mates' blogs these days. As for the 2020 Summit, few politicians were invited, it was for the people by the people, mainly attended by those who had done good deeds for their respective communities, and of course the darling of the summit was Oscar winner and Sydney Theatre Company director Cate Blanchett who gave birth five days before to a son called Ignatius (Iggy). Here's hoping Oz gets the makeover that we desperately need from new ideas. BTW, kd is on tour Down Under, and I see from today's news she will get a police escort (!!! - the headlines called it a "sweetheart deal"!).
