You must be breathing a sigh of relief, Sidonie. Australian summers can be brutal with people wilting like this forlorn looking plant. I remember your water-shortage posts from last summer with empty fountains and the like. How was this summer?

@Stu: Summer was cooler, some parts of the country (Hunter Valley NSW and Qld ) were practically washed off the map with flooding, other parts barely saw a drop. We are stewing in high temperatures at the moment - 32-35 everyday. Adelaide has had 40 plus temps for over a week. Global warming? It's worse than we care to admit, according to the govt's advisors. Around here the grass is green, the fountains are playing - so it's not as bad!
