Good composition adhering to rule of thirds! I find it a little too bright for my eyes though Sidonie.

@Helen: I've just gone through your archives looking at examples taken with your Fuji S5500 and the more recent S9500 to compare with this pic of mine taken with a Fuji S5700, so I'm presuming on both models you have the option to use F-Chrome setting which my manual recommends for high color saturation. This pic is the result of that setting - no postprocessing here. The only other contributing factor to the extraordinary color that I can suggest is the cold mountain air and winter solstice position of the sun! Do you use that setting? My other question is - which setting do you use on your Fujis for the exceptional focus and clarity you obtain?
Very neat blue here. I like the composition very much. You are right, the tones of your new camera are so different from powershots.
