MontereyJohn from California, United StatesHow Australia is that?! Wonderful shot. Such rich color and light and good composition. 15 Apr 2007 5:30am @MontereyJohn: Like a film set! Thanks MJ for the visit! @Behrooz: It's preserved as an historic site for steam train fans - otherwise it would be derelict and in ruins. Thanks Behrooz! Fred from Easton PA, United StatesIt's reminiscent of the old west ! 15 Apr 2007 6:50am @Fred: Yes, restored and kept in this condition for the Historic Society of steam train buffs! Thanks Fred! Dimitrios from ATHENS, Greecenostalgic platform, when is the next train here, is Harry Poter coming too? 15 Apr 2007 8:20am @Dimitrios: Bon Voyage Dimitrios! Bring us back some pics of Old New York! Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaSweet feeling of a lazy afternoon, sheltering from the sun, and waiting for a train that never comes. 15 Apr 2007 4:43pm @Damon Schreiber: That's so appropriate - I might quote you if I use this photo again. Lovely comment, thanks Damon! amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaWonderful framing and excellent light! One can come up with so many stories looking at this shot.. magic. ;-) 15 Apr 2007 5:55pm @amy: Place a girl in Victorian muslin waiting for her beau - or the train has left, and he wasn't on it ... Thanks Amy (let's not get too crazy with the "magic"!) @Jen: That's nice Jen, thanks! @Reza: Many thanks Reza! Henri Rabagny from Paris, FranceMagnifique ! @Still: Thank you Still! Merci pour la visite. Stu from Kyoto, JapanWhat a beautiful old station. This has a timeless feel to it. Very well taken Sidonie. 23 Apr 2007 9:39am @Stu: I'll have to find more pics like this - it's the Australia many want to see, judging by the response here. Yhanks for the visit Stu! |
