This is one for the cognoscenti.
I have seen one of these posted to aminus3 recently, so I know there are fans out there.

You are looking at the front ( believe it not), and the steering wheel is on the driver's left-hand side.

Details:
Ordered by the Czech government, 1959.
Delivered to the Czech Agriculture Ministry 1960.
Sent back to the factory and rebuilt in 1965.
Bought by current owners in the Czech Republic 1999
Shipped to Australia with renovated body in 2002.

At the Historic Cars Exhibition,
Canberra, March 11, 2007.

Just caught up with your car series (and kilts!) and am loving it. Really feel nostalgic and the E type gave me a misty eye to boot. Why can't we build cars like this anymore? They've really got something that today's (albeit more efficient) identical clones have most definitely lost. Or am I just showing my age?!
