@Jerry: Thank you Jerry - the trees in that spot are both native eucalypts and introduced European species - some of the most exotic rose gardens in the country surround the Old Parliament.

@Dimitrios: Yes, autumn and its beautiful colors is coming - well, theoretically - but climate change here is so extreme, we may not see a seasonal change at all this year! Daily temps are still around 30 Celsius. Thank you for your visit Dimitrios (from the other side of the globe!)

Gorgeous light, the old tree almost looks fuffy the light is so soft.

@Bronnie: And you won't believe this, but a young guy - a "tourist" from Melbourne - was standing there with a camera, and didn't even notice the extraordinary colors! Now that's a waste of a good camera!
