Ha! Is it just me or does that lady look like she's about to kick him out?
I love the bright colors of their clothing.

@purelysnow: She WAS cross, though I didn't catch a word, just the expression.
You don't really have to travel and can still capture images from around the world in Canberra. Good on you, haha.

@Josh: Sometimes I think I'm in Switzerland here - the lake, the embassies, the mountains, the cleanness etc - but nothing beats actual travel, Josh. Love your traveling pics.
Yet more colourful costumes! =)

@Ee Yuing: Oh, yes, the colors, the dances, the crowds, the faces, and THE FOOD! Thanks EY!
Got to go to Canberra to see the world! She looks pretty grumpy about the cheeky boy! I wonder how he got the turban to stay put, GREAT shot! So far my favourite.

What amazing colours and costumes. Must be quite a festival, Sidonie. And I just love that expression you've captured! Wonderful! Wouldn't like to cross her.

@jennifer radio: No editing - just the way it was at the time. Thanks for the visit Jennifer!
Again, beautiful colors! I like the composition a lot too - how we can't actually see the watcher's face, and the camera is positioned just behind his head so we have the same point of view.

@dYe: Yes, the POV is rich territorty for gaze theorists! Thanks for the visit, dYe.
A dramatic scene! Well done.

@Damon Schreiber: Yes - there's the sequel/act ii - "Boy Watching Me" posted on 16 Feb.
I've been away from the computer for a few days but I must say now that I'm back it's good to see more of this series without having to wait a day for the next shot . I gotta tell you, this is a splendid shot, the colors are great , I love how you caught the expression on her face combined with the posture of the boy who seems he can't decide whether to eye ball her for a few moments more or run like hell ! Good stuff !
