Greek dance

They hold on tightly to the waistbands of the dancers on either side to maintain the line formation as the music speeds up and the footwork gets fancier...

This troupe travelled from Melbourne to perform at the Canberra Food and Dance Festival, February 10th 2007.

Great angle, and thanks for the info too; I wouldn't have known why they were holding on to each other's waistbands. Looks like a really fun festival!

I like how you focus on the waistbands to form a diagonal line threw the photo .
judging from this and the previous shot it seems like a very fun event, I can't wait to see more !

Love the composition and the line created by their arms along the centre. Looks like they're working up a sweat! The guy on the right seems lost in the music. A great one, Sidonie.
