Dry Pond #2

Posted by Sidonie (Sydney, Australia) on 18 January 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Drought, global warming, and water restrictions this summer. We cannot afford to waste precious water: we need every drop just to keep living.

This is one of many empty ponds in Canberra. Located in front of the National Library of Australia, it usually dances with high sprays from the fountains, a welcome place to rest and dangle hot tired feet.
